As I hopped on here today, I was excited to see that today’s post is number 100. It’s been a great journey so far, and I’m excited to see where it takes me in the next 122 acts. I’m especially happy that today’s post ties in with my eldest daughter since the inspiration for this blog came from her. Chloe turned two yesterday, and we had some of her friends over to celebrate. Since its cold and flu season, a couple of the children who were supposed to attend didn’t make it. I had made goodie bags with homemade cookies, and I decided to take two to Chloe’s two year appointment today. The nurses were so happy!
I’m a twentysomething, military wife, mother, writer, teacher, and friend who’s just trying to do the right thing.

Act 95
Last week the girls and I brought a few bags of toys and games to the Toy Rescue Mission (www.toyrescuemission.org). They’re a local charity that provides birthday, Christmas, and Easter presents to children whose parents can’t afford to buy them anything. Charity is always close to my heart, but I feel a particularly strong burden for these types of organizations. My daughters are blessed with more clothing and toys than they could ever need. I want them to know that not every child is so lucky, and we need to do what we can to help.
